The CFL and human rights

By signing the national "Business and Human Rights" pact in July 2022, the CFL group has committed to preventing and managing human rights risks in its activities throughout the value chain.
 
The measures implemented are:
  • Measures to raise awareness of human rights issues among staff internally and suppliers externally.
  • A human rights risk map, applied to the Group's internal activities and purchasing, which has identified areas of increased risk and the measures to be taken to strengthen CFL's commitment to human rights.
  • The publication of a code of conduct for suppliers, which summarises the principles and requirements, particularly in terms of safety, workers' rights, human rights, the environment and ethics, that are essential to cooperation between CFL and its suppliers.
  • The identification of a contact person for human rights and the establishment of complaints mechanisms to deal with cases of non-compliance.
