Our approach

As a major player in mobility in Luxembourg, the CFL Group wants to work towards more responsible, sustainable and inclusive mobility, and to have a positive impact on the planet and on people. This commitment applies to both customers and employees of Luxembourg's largest employer.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) covers all the practices put in place by the CFL Group with the aim of respecting the principles of sustainable development (social, environmental and economic), in particular the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. CFL's activities also contribute to the implementation of the National Plan for Sustainable Development, particularly in terms of sustainable mobility, land use, climate protection and education.

The CSR approach is integrated into the company's strategy, in line with the Group's General Policy. It is informed by an analysis of the environmental and social impact of CFL and the expectations of its internal and external stakeholders. It is also subject to a number of external assessments that specifically measure the degree of corporate social responsibility. As a result, in 2022, CFL renewed its "Socially Responsible Company" (ESR) label from the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR), awarded for the first time in 2019. CFL has also been awarded the EcoVadis silver medal in 2021.
