World Bicycle Day – Cycling Celebrated with CFL

On 3 June 2026, CFL, together with their partners, invite you to celebrate this day established by the United Nations, highlighting the benefits of cycling for health and individual mobility.

Join us from 10:00 a.m. on the forecourt of the Pfaffenthal–Kirchberg intermodal exchange hub.

Until 5:00 p.m., cyclists of all ages and anyone interested in sustainable mobility will be able to discover the Luxembourg cycling scene through a wide range of information stands and activities.

Entertainment, Services and Refreshments

Fany a tasty break? Enjoy a snack on site. To mark this special day, a free ice cream will be offered.

CFL cycling services

CFL will present their full range of cycling-related services, including the bikebox offer.

Take the opportunity to register free of charge to access these secure bike hubs, available throughout the country.

Bike maintenance and repairs

Need to change a tube or adjust your gears or brakes?

Experts from ACL and Happy Cyclist will provide free maintenance and minor repairs for your bicycle.

Guided Tours and Bike Rides

Long-distance cycling tour – ProVelo.lu

• Start at 10:00 a.m.
• Route: Pfaffenthal–Kirchberg → Diekirch via Echternach
• Duration: 3 to 4 hours

Inclusive LUGA cycling tour – Back2Sport

• Start at 12:00 p.m.
• Route accessible to all
• Free bike rental on site
• No prior registration required

E‑bike tours – Sightseeing.lu

• Departure times: 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Guided tour around the capital
• Duration: approx. 1 hour
• Bikes provided free of charge

After-work gravel tour

Coming with your own bike? Join Youth Hostels Luxembourg and Panaché Vélo for a guided gravel tour, starting at 6:00 p.m.
