The work carried out at Mersch station since 2019 has created a new, strategically important multimodal hub along the northern line with an increased service to and from Mersch.

The interior of the Mersch station building was completely redesigned, in line with the concept of the "station of tomorrow" and taking into account the protection of monuments at national and municipal level. New services are offered to complement mobility services in Mersch, including the opening of a CFL cactus shoppi.
