The CFL centralise information and other alarm systems from buildings, lifts, SOS columns and fire alarms within its rail and infrastructure network. The network of video surveillance cameras (stations and infrastructure around stations) is also connected to the various BMS sites. The images stored there are forwarded to the competent authorities upon explicit and justified request. The CFL has had a BMS centre in Belval-Université since 2011 and in Mersch since 2023. A gradual and nationwide expansion is planned.
An approach that enables prompt intervention in the event of any technical defects detected and thus improves the quality of the services offered.
