The new electric buses
About 260 bus drivers are gearing up to take to the road in twelve new electric buses (four 18-metre buses and eight 12-metre buses), which will be operating on RGTR routes in the first half of 2025.

A new tender for twelve more electric buses is currently being prepared. These buses offer safety and comfort for the CFL staff and their customers and have an average range of +/-250 kilometres.
They will be charged at 14 new charging points at the bus department's site in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie (on the site of the "Centre de Remisage et de Maintenance") and represent an important milestone in the gradual electrification of the CFL bus fleet.
