To combine customer comfort and permanent access to information systems such as the CFL mobile app or www.cfl.lu, the CFL are considering mobile connectivity.
The 34 new trains of the 2400 series ("Coradia" type ), ordered from the Alstom supplier, will be equipped with a Wi-Fi connection system and will reinforce the current CFL fleet by December 2024. In the meantime, the installation of Wi-Fi on the existing equipment is being studied, especially for the DOSTO trains.
The CFL intend to extend the Wi-Fi on the buses as well. Two “pilot buses”, equipped with Wi-Fi on board, have been put into service and are the subject of an in-depth study.
