OHMIO - autonomous shuttles

After carrying out real-life tests on the site of the CFL intermodal terminal in Bettembourg-Dudelange, the two OHMIO shuttles from New Zealand manufacturer HMI Technologies will serve the first customers in Belval during 2024 on a 4.4-kilometre route linking four stops, including Belval-Université station.

The OHMIO shuttles in 5 points:
1. a maximum speed of 25km/h
2. a length of 4.7 metres
3. safety thanks to numerous sensors (inside and outside) and a direct connection to a control centre
4. the presence of accompanying staff on board
5. eight seats and space for people with reduced mobility
