A new administrative building at the Dernier Sol (Luxembourg-Bonnevoie)
As part of the profound transformation of the "Dernier Sol", an administrative building is being designed on the site of the "Centre de Remisage et de Maintenance" (Storage and Maintenance Centre) to house the "Maintenance Infrastructure" department and other CFL departments working on site.

As with other buildings, particular attention is paid to the quality and innovative, creative and flexible character of the overall concept and construction. With this in mind, innovative construction techniques are being used in this building to save resources (e.g. geothermal energy, rainwater utilisation, photovoltaic systems, use of wood).
The architecture places the employees at the centre and focuses on their needs, comfort, health and quality of life. Accordingly, the aim is to achieve international BREEAM "Excellent" certification and the highest certification from the WELL Building Institute. Construction work will begin at the end of 2024 and the building will be handed over after a construction period of 40 months.
